Winders Staircases are a Staircase with one or more Turns. Winder Stairs get their name from the “Winder Tread”; a shaped tread that allows the turn in the steps to be possible. Winder stairs can be used to reduce the footprint of the stairs where needed or to simply change the landing access area.

Whilst they may look simple, it takes years of experience to make Bespoke Curved Staircase. Each detail must be individually considered to ensure the flow of the curve continues perfectly from the stringers, through the balustrading, and into the handrail.

Glass has remained a popular option for staircases for a number of years. We have designed our own patterns of handrail and base rail specifically for glass balustrading to ensure we can match exactly what you want and need from your new staircase.

Over the years we have worked with Woodturners, Blacksmiths & Glass Processors to produce bespoke spindles for clients.

Each spindle regardless of the material can then be brought to us for fitting in a fully bespoke handrail and base rail.
